Değerli Meslektaşlarım,
“Uluslararası Katılımlı XI. Metabolik Hastalıklar ve Beslenme Kongresi” 14 - 16 Nisan 2011 tarihleri arasında İzmir - Çeşme Sheraton Otel’de yapılacaktır. Kongrenin düzenleme görevinin Ege Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Pediatrik Metabolizma Bölümü’ne verilmesinden onur duyduk. Sizleri hem bilimsel, hem de sosyal açıdan memnun edecek bir program hazırlamak amacıyla Çocuk Beslenme ve Metabolizma Derneği danışmanlığında çalıştık. Beklentilerinizin karşılanması, en büyük mutluluğumuz olacaktır.

Günümüze dek her iki yılda bir gerçekleştirilen; birbirinden doyurucu bilgilerle dolu on kongre deneyimi yanı sıra, ülkemizdeki metabolik hastalıkların yönetimi konusunda da çok yol alınmıştır. Gelişen teknolojinin yardımıyla, tanınan ve tedavi edilebilen kalıtsal metabolik hastalıkların giderek artış göstermesi; konunun hep gündemde olmasını sağlamaktadır. Öte yandan, ülkemizde akraba evlilikleri yüksek oranda görüldüğünden, metabolik hastalıklar, ayırıcı tanıda sıklıkla akla gelmektedir. Tedavide beslenmenin çok önemli bir yer tutması nedeniyle kongremizde, hasta çocuk beslenmesi ve etkili olabilecek genel beslenme bilgilerinin de gözden geçirilmesi hedeflenmektedir.

Kongremizde doğumsal metabolik hastalıklar; akut metabolik hastalıklar, organel hastalıkları ve ülkemizde uygulanmakta olan yeni doğan tarama testlerinin ele alınacağı üç temel bölümde incelenecektir. Her bir bölümde yer alacak hastalıklar, hasta örnekleri ile tartışılacak, böylelikle multidisipliner izlem konusunda bilgi aktarımı gerçekleşecektir. Ayrıca seçilecek bildiriler, sözel olarak sunulacak, merkezlerin deneyimleri paylaşılacaktır. Yenidoğan tarama testlerinde ülkemizde gelinen durum ve saptanan doğumsal metabolik hastalıklı yenidoğanların ileri izlemlerine yönelik tartışma oturumları gerçekleştirilecektir.
Ege’nin incisi İzmir’in doğa harikası bir bölgesi olan Çeşme’de, güzel bahar günlerinde siz değerli katılımcılarla beraber olmak, deneyimlerimizi hep birlikte paylaşmak; bizi çok sevindirecektir.

Insurance
Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that participants take out their own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property and repatriation expenses. No responsibility is taken by the symposium managers for any person not holding insurance.

Cancellation Policy
There is an administrative fee of €100 for cancellations received prior to February 14, 2011. After this date, the full registration fee will be charged. Alternatively delegates are encouraged to transfer their registration.
